Valentino

Red is the colour of love. Elegance is its language.

The story

Valentino Garavani opened his maison in Rome in 1960, on Via Condotti, in the heart of the eternal city. From the very first collection, his style was unmistakable: romantic luxury, impeccable tailoring, and a red — the 'Valentino red' — that became one of the most iconic colours in the history of fashion.

Valentino eyewear carries the maison's visual codes onto the frame: the Rockstud (pyramidal studs that have become a symbol of the brand), floral motifs, precious workmanship, and of course red as a chromatic accent. These are glasses that belong to a romantic and sophisticated imaginary.

After Valentino Garavani's retirement in 2008, the maison went through several creative directions. Pierpaolo Piccioli, who led the brand from 2016, brought Valentino towards a more contemporary and inclusive femininity, while maintaining the romantic DNA of the house.

Today Valentino is one of the most recognizable Italian luxury brands in the world. The eyewear reflects this heritage: every model is a tribute to beauty as a conscious act, to elegance as a form of respect for oneself and the world.
